The iOS app

No Bible Decoded account is required for the iOS app. Saved passages, notes, journal entries, collections, reading progress, language and reading preferences stay on your device. Daily usage and recent reading activity are also stored locally to suggest passages. The app does not upload these records to Base44, an analytics service or an AI service. Personal suggestions come from the local passage collection.

Apple purchases

Apple processes iOS subscriptions. StoreKit supplies the displayed prices and verifies subscription status. The app does not receive your payment-card details. Apple handles its services under its own terms and privacy policy.

Sharing and exports

You choose where to share content. Verse images exclude private notes; personal-data exports contain your writing. Temporary sharing files may remain in the app cache and older files are cleaned up during later sharing. External destinations handle information under their own policies.

Reminders and widgets

Reminders require your permission. The app and its widget share a local reading schedule. Notifications and widgets may be visible to anyone who can see your screen. Change notification permissions in iOS Settings.

Deleting and preserving your writing

Erase personal data in app Settings removes saved passages, notes, journal entries, collections and reading progress. Preferences, recommendation history and daily usage are separate. Automatic import and cross-device synchronization are not provided. Export your writing before deleting the app. Device backups and copies you have shared are outside this deletion operation.

Website hosting and click measurement

On this website, activations of connected App Store buttons are counted by date, store and page position. These click records do not contain names, email addresses, IP addresses, device identifiers or browsing history. This measurement uses no cookies or browser storage and respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Counts represent activations, not unique visitors or verified installations. Records are stored with Netlify; ordinary hosting requests are processed separately by Netlify.

Support and earlier direct purchases

If you email us, your address, message and attachments are handled through email to answer your request. Do not send passwords, payment-card details or unnecessary private writing. If you previously paid through Stripe, Stripe handles the associated payment and billing information. This does not describe data collection by the current iOS app.

The Bible Decoded app offers English, Español, Português (Brasil), Français, Deutsch, Svenska and Tagalog. The website is in English.
