The app and its content

Bible Decoded provides selected Bible passages, editorial explanations and tools for personal reflection. Decode explanations and ancient-language material are available for selected passages, not every verse. Read explanations alongside the wider biblical context. Ancient texts identify their editions; word meanings depend on context. Quantum Meaning is metaphorical reflection, not a scientific explanation or promise of results.

Current release and preview

The public App Store release is version 1.0 (build 8). The full English NIV Bible reader and chapter guides shown in the website’s next-update preview belong to build 12 and are not included in the current public release. No release date is promised.

Included free

Browse and search the selected passage collection, read Biblical Meaning, Meaning in brief and Practical Activation, explore available ancient-language material, save passages, write notes and share verse cards. One personal passage suggestion per day is included.

Premium

Spiritual Meaning, Reflection questions, seven-day reading plans and unlimited personal passage suggestions. Selected passages also offer Quantum Meaning in English, German and Swedish, presented as metaphorical reflection.

Prices

The U.S. App Store currently lists Premium at US$1.99 per month or US$19.99 per year (checked 23 October 2026). Prices and currencies vary by storefront. The Apple purchase sheet shows your local price and renewal terms before you confirm.

Renewal and cancellation

Both plans provide the same Premium access and renew automatically unless canceled. The monthly plan has no annual commitment; the yearly plan is billed in full each year. Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the app or its data does not cancel the subscription.

Restore Purchases and refunds

Restore Purchases checks the subscription associated with your Apple Account. It does not restore locally stored writing. Apple handles refund requests for purchases billed by Apple: see Apple’s refund instructions. Refund eligibility varies by country and circumstances; cancellation is not an automatic refund. Applicable consumer rights remain unaffected.

Your writing and licensed material

Your personal writing remains yours. Translation credits appear in the app. Sharing or exporting does not grant additional rights to redistribute copyrighted translations or other third-party material. Keep copies of writing you wish to preserve.

License and support

Use of the iOS app is subject to Apple’s Standard EULA. Bible Decoded is provided by Felix Amadeus Åslund, Sweden. For support, contact felix@felixamadeus.com. See our Privacy Policy.

Earlier Stripe purchases

If your original purchase was made directly through Stripe, manage that subscription through the Stripe customer portal. Apple subscriptions cannot be managed there. Your original checkout and receipt determine your existing price and billing period. The legacy direct-subscription terms remain available for these purchases.

The Bible Decoded app offers English, Español, Português (Brasil), Français, Deutsch, Svenska and Tagalog. The website is in English.
